Dave Chappelle
After two successful seasons of “Chappelle Show,” Dave Chappelle was offered $50 million by Comedy Central to continue his show. But, in the middle of filming the third season, Chappelle abruptly disappeared to South Africa, citing the pressures of fame and Hollywood as his reasons for leaving the limelight. Chappelle later returned to stand-up comedy, though, he never returned to TV.
