Drake and Chris Brown taking legal action against each other
After brawling at a New York City nightclub in June, Drake and Chris Brown are both taking legal action against each other. As previously reported, Drake, 26, and Brown, 23, got into a heated exchange at New York’s WIP nightclub reportedly after Drake made comments about Rihanna. Several bottles, champagne glasses and other inanimate objects were thrown and several clubgoers were injured. Since then, the innocent bystanders have sued both Brown and Drake for damages.
Now, according to TMZ, both parties are trying to place blame on each other with lawyers for both celebs trying to cover their clients. Specifically, lawyers are defending their clients against Romain Julien, a French model who filed suit against Drake and Brown as well as WIP nightclub for injuries he suffered during their scuffle.
Drake and Brown each claim they were not responsible and want the other to pay any damages in the event the model wins.
Neither Drake nor Chris Brown have commented on their legal drama. –danielle canada
