Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel
“If my life is a movie then [Beanie] Sigel be the sequel,” Jay-Z rapped on the song “It’s On.” That’s right, it seemed as if Jay-Z had big plans for his rap protege from Philly. Lyrically, Beanie Sigel was considered one of the best in the early 2000s. But after Beanie Sigel served time in jail and Jay-Z split with Dame Dash, the two had a miscommunication that turned into a rap beef. Beanie Sigel released several diss records aimed at Jay-Z. But Jay-Z never responded and people forgot about the rap beef and Beanie Sigel.
