During the ‘90s and ‘00s, E. Lynn Harris became the most well-known black gay author of his era thanks to groundbreaking novels (his first 10 were all New York Times best-sellers) including, Invisible Life, which depicted the lives of openly gay, bisexual and closeted gay men.
