We’ve absolutely got game when it comes to basketball. African Americans have been the driving force and dominators of the game for most of recent history. Black players have garnered the gamut of awards that the NBA has to dole out, and lots of these players have not only been awarded top honors once, but several times.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar holds the all-time record for MVP wins – with six to his credit. Kareem is followed closely by none other than number 23 – Michael Jordan – with five MVP awards.
