Hailing from the London Borough of Hackney, Elba has plenty of swagger. He really would make a great James Bond.
“My favorite part of the campaign is driving all around the city doing all of these amazing stunts,” he says. “The car is so well redesigned, it doesn’t look like an Avalon. It has always been an affordable, luxury car … this is a step up.”
The 2013 Toyota Avalon is nearly 120 pounds lighter than its predecessor. It uses racing technology and underneath the chassis, there’s specially shaped diffuser panels that reduce turbulence, resulting in enhanced control. Also, each panel on the body was ergonomically sculpted to reduce wind noise.
