At least five people were stabbed Tuesday morning at a Houston-area college, police say — an incident that has prompted the school to urge students to take shelter.
One of two armed suspects still is at large after the incident at Lone Star College’s CyFair campus in Cypress, according to the school’s website.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one suspect has been detained.
Details about the stabbing weren’t immediately released.
“Stay away from the area. Seek shelter in a secure location until the incident is resolved,” the school posted on its website.
