That was 2 Chainz‘s announcement back in February, just days after the popular rapper made his television acting debut as a guest star on the popular CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls.” It looks like he’s deciding to push forward with at least one of them.
It was announced this week that 2 Chainz landed an appearance on the long-running crime drama Law & Order: SVU. The Atlanta native posted Instagram photos of himself hanging out with the series stars, actress Mariska Hargitay and fellow rapper-actor Ice-T.
2 Chainz is set to appear in the “SVU” episode that airs on May 8. His character, the unfortunately named Calvin “Pearlie” Jones, will reportedly be involved in a conflict with Ice-T’s character, Detective Fin Tutuola. When posing with a photo alongside Hargitay, 2 Chainz dubbed the star, “My new boo.”
