Stars go wild as Knicks stun Celtics in playoff thriller

The New York Knicks used smothering defense and Carmelo Anthony’s scoring to defeat the Boston Celtics by a score of 85-75 in game one of the NBA Playoffs. In the fourth quarter, the Knicks outscored the Celtics 18-8 after being down by as many as 9 points in the third quarter.

Anthony led the Knicks with 36 points.
