10 perfect albums for celebrating 4/20

chronic

No. 7: The Chronic by Dr. Dre (1992)

Does this even need an explanation? It’s called The Chronic, for God’s sake! Slow-rolling bass grooves, hilarious sketches that have held up better than they should have, guest star Snoop Doggy Dogg’s lazy drawl and about 1,734 references to marijuana, blunts, joints and the munchies. It should be a misdemeanor to even own this album.
