At one point the biggest girl group of all time, T-Boz, Left-Eye and Chilli’s domination of the mid-to-late ’90s forever ingrained them in the hearts and minds of music fans. Along with Mary J. Blige and Aaliyah, they brought hip-hop attitude to mainstream R&B and added feminist undertones and playful sexuality. They provided a template for everyone from the Spice Girls to Nicki Minaj.
