Coldplay is the band everyone loves to hate, but their fourth album was a masterwork of craftsmanship and an excellent pseudo-concept album driven by the production talents of Brian Eno and Jon Hopkins. The band finally began to stretch itself musically, and the result is their most sonically adventurous album to date.
