No. 18 Weezer (Green Album) by Weezer (2001)
Though it’s grown in stature over the years, Pinkerton almost killed Weezer’s career, and frontman/guitarist/songwriter Rivers Cuomo bounced back with his most polished set of shiny pop-rock tunes. Though not in any way “deep,” the SoCal nerd rockers third effort re-introduced them to a generation that thought their best days were behind them.
