Chuck Muncie dies
Former NFL running back Chuck Muncie has died. Reps for the ex-New Orleans Saints confirmed that he passed away Tuesday from a heart attack.
“Sadly, we have learned of the untimely passing of Chuck Muncie,” New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and other loved ones at this difficult time.”
Prior to his death Muncie was known for turning his life around after a troubled career that included drug use and imprisonment. Most recently he was working with at-risk youth and counseling drug addicted adults.
Muncie was 60-years-old. -danielle canada
