R&B singer Ne-Yo paid a visit to Philadelphia’s Hot 107.9 and discussed a wide range of topics with hosts Shamara and Laiya. When the subject of Ray J, Kim Kardashian and Ray’s controversial single, “I Hit It First” came up, Ne-Yo made it clear that he doesn’t approve of the song. Ray J initially claimed that the song had nothing to do with his ex-girlfriend Kardashian but once the artwork and video debuted, it was obvious to all fans and media that Ray was definitely aiming for Kim, who is now pregnant with superstar rapper/producer Kanye West‘s child.

Kim initially rose to fame after appearing in an explicit sex video with Ray J back in 2005. The film also raised his profile. But many are turned off by the brazenness of the single.

For his part, Ne-Yo says he isn’t interested in hearing the song.

“I have not [heard it] and I will not,” Ne-Yo said adamantly.

“I personally feel like it’s nuts, it’s disrespectful for one,” he added. “It’s disrespectful for the person that it is allegedly not about. I don’t have a beef with Ray J, don’t even go there, don’t even start that. I just don’t see the purpose or reason for that. You look nuts for that. I would have written him a song. Ray-J, holla at ya boy. I will write you whatever it is that you need. I have no problem saying it, ‘Ray-J you are playing yourself with that. You are bigger than that, cut that out.’”
