What inspires you to show up at work every day?
I am inspired to work because I love seeing the joy in people that my work brings.
How did you determine your career path?
I followed my heart. I have done all kinds of creative work as well as retail sales. I find that when one door closed, another one opened. If there were no jobs, I created my own job or business. I would say my career path chose me.
Describe the skill sets that are essential to future business leaders and innovators?
A business leader and innovator has to be intensely curious about the world, constantly learning and growing. A leader has to be able to solve problems and put him or herself last. A business leader has to ask questions constantly and believe in those they are leading more than they believe in themselves. A leader has to be of service to others and show others that by being of service you create and cultivate future leaders.

Lifelong learning is important to keep the mind active, open and fun.
Community success is based on what you do in the community. What does community success mean to you?
It means that my team of 65 women that I coach, train, lead and inspire are profitable and happy in their businesses.
Technology plays what role in your daily life?
Daily, I use my phone, laptop, iPad and computer. I use it to communicate, to sell, to lead, train and inspire. I use it to research and shop, make plans and go places daily.
How do music and culture impact your life?
Music and culture are my life. I wake up to music, work out to rhythms and sleep to music.
Describe your favorite vacation spot.
My favorite vacation spot in the world thus far is Tortola British Virgin Islands. Virgin Gorda. I think is the most beautiful place in the world.
If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
End unnecessary violence, especially against women and children.
