Recently, rolling out reporter Nicholas Robinson penned the feature: Minnesota to become 12th state to legalize same-sex marriage.
To celebrate the victory, Revolution Church introduced rainbow communion bread. The Minneapolis church’s pastor, Rev. Jay Bakker, thought the bread – and the state’s embrace of gay rights – tasted “kind of sweet.”
“So many people have been hurt by the church and by Christianity,” Bakker tells media. “But this was a beautiful moment.”
