NY Yankees third baseman, Alex Rodriguez is currently in Tampa, Florida recuperating from left hip surgery of Jan. 16. He is already ahead of schedule with his rehab and has added defensive drills to his regimen, already hitting out of the batting cage. He took 25 swings during a batting practice session in an indoor cage Monday at the Yankees’ minor league complex. The 37-year -old is on a winning streak as he has just sold his beautiful Miami Beach mansion and made a heck of a profit. The oceanfront palace with nine bedrooms, eleven full bathrooms  and two half bathrooms, a 4-car garage, state of the art security system with 16 cameras and a Zen garden sold for a whooping $30 million.

A-Rod has accepted a $30 million offer for his 19,861-square-foot Miami Beach estate in which he purchased in 2010 for $7.4 million. Soon after his purchased, he invested another $7.6 million to customize the home. He originally set an asking price of $38 million but gladly took the $30 mil. There’s no doubt the palatial mansion is worth every dollar.  The money is small change in comparison to the $86 million he is set to make from 2014-17 and the $28 million this season. Check out a few pics of the home A-Rod is gladly kissing good-bye here.-louvonia mcclain
