In particular, MLB is seeking to suspend A-Rod, 37, and Braun more than 100 games because, if the allegations are true, it would represent a second violation of the league’s banned chemical substance policies. MLB is currently in talks with Biogenesis founder Anthony Bosch, who supplied PEDs and other illicit drugs to major and minor league althetes, to divulge information that could lead to the greatest steroid scandal in the history of American sports. The New York Yankees, desperate to get out of paying A-Rod more than $20 million a year an aging, broken down, disgraced star, would welcome a suspension and would also work to void A-Rod exorbitant contract. But the Players Association would have a lot to pushback if the Yankees ever tried such a move, guilty or not.
We know this for sure: if it were left up to real estate carnival barker Donald Trump, A-Rod would have already been fired.
