The swagger was unmistakable. When Amin Joseph walked through the doors of our posh Los Angeles photo studio for his exclusive photo shoot with rolling out, he carried with him the confidence of a man secure with his current lot in life. At the time of shooting, Joseph was preparing to be a leading man in the latest Cinemax series, “Zane’s The Jump Off.” The prospect of that new series, as well as his turn in GI Joe: Retaliation, had Joseph feeling pretty confident about his place in Hollywood.
But it wasn’t until we sat down for a heart-to-heart with the New York native that we began to really get a sense of the true source of Joseph’s self-assurance. It wasn’t his increased visibility on the big and small screens — although that certainly doesn’t hurt — nor was it the attention that he undoubtedly receives from the opposite sex in sunny L.A. Instead, his source of confidence comes from the people who knew him from the very start — his family back in New York. Before fame, there was family, and Joseph was eager to tell us about it.
