Ella Varner and Iman Shumpert are dating
Soul songstress, Elle Varner has a new man in her life that also happens to be an NBA athlete. Varner, 24 is dating New York Knick Iman Shumpert, 22. The twosome has been spotted on several occasions together and recently vacationed in Aruba.
Shumpert also confirmed the relationship on Instagram by posting a sketch of a man and woman kissing with the caption “In a nutshelle,” spelling shell with an added e for Elle’s name.
So far fans are either excited about the new couple or flooding Twitter with tweets expressing their sadness over Elle’s new relationship status.

Prior to news about her baller beau, a rumor surfaced that she was engaged to a caucasian man after she posted a photo of what appeared to be an engagement ring. Elle quickly shot down the rumor and confirmed that while she was open to dating outside her race, she was single.
