Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of slavery’s ending in the United States. Leimert Park Village has been holding annual Juneteenth festivals for years, and this year’s, themed “Faith, Family and Our Global Future,” is set to be a family-friendly bash.
