President Zuma visits Nelson Mandela, says his health is improving
After being hospitalized for nearly ten days, the health of Nelson Mandela is reportedly improving. The news comes from South African President, Jacob Zuma who recently visited Mandela in a Pretoria hospital.
“Madiba’s health continues to improve, but his condition remains serious,” President Zuma said in a statement. “We continue to appeal to people to keep Madiba in their prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.”
Mandela was hospitalized June 8 for a recurring lung infection.
This is the 94-year-old’s fourth stay in the hospital since December. -danielle canada
