Public Enemy “Fight The Power”
Public Enemy was too busy fighting injustice to have summer fun in 1989. The group recognized the racial strife of the 1980s and how it was reaching a boiling point. Summer can be about fun, but P.E. reminded us to never lose focus on important issues.
