Observers of the Zimmerman trial could clearly see the extremely contentious interaction between the witness Jeantel, the last person to hear Trayvon Martin alive, and the defense lawyer Ron West and how Jeantel reacted adversely to West’s blistering and condescending line of questioning, sparking a flurry of social media criticisms of Jeantel’s testimony.
Jones, however, took it to another level and had this to say about Jeantel:
The fury that Jones incited for her ignorant and ill-advised comments was immediate, merciless and severe. For an Olympian who knows a lot about coming up short in the most pressurized circumstances, the statuesque Jones was nonetheless unsympathetic and hypocritical in taking the same kind of shots at Jeantel that her legion of detractors took at her last year in the London Games that reduced Jones to shivering tears.
@lolojones You are so wrong for that. I used to respect you. Not anymore. Go count your Olmypic gold medals. Oops you don’t have any! LOSER!

@lolojones She was in a high-pressure situation and did not react well, like you in the Olympics. — J.J. 79 (@TheRealJones79) June 28, 2013
