One of the great “woulda/coulda/shoulda” stories of the early 2000s, the debut album from this Atlanta-based singer-songwriter seemed to trumpet the arrival of a new star. Unfortunately, ChestnuTT’s raw blend of soul, funk and rock didn’t crack the mainstream.
