The biggest music event of the summer didn’t go as planned. Samsung Galaxy was set to release Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carter Holy Grail, at midnight on July 4. However, as Galaxy users waited for the app to allow them to download the album, the app crashed.
The crash was likely caused by a high volume of users attempting to download the album at the same time. Samsung responded by tweeting, “Woah. We broke the Internet. Magna Carter Holy Grail is almost here.”
Although Samsung found humor in the situation, users of the app were highly upset.
