Hip-hop superproducer, Mike Dean is fresh off of his work on Kanye West‘s controversial album Yeezus, and the beatmaker got Twitter buzzing this weekend when he confirmed that Kanye and fellow hip-hop superstar, Jay-Z will definitely be dropping a sequel to their blockbuster 2011 album Watch the Throne.
While the two stars haven’t worked together very much since that multi-platinum album, Dean, in a Twitter exchange with fellow producer Hudson Mohawke, made it clear that a collaborative album is forthcoming.
Hudson Mohawke stated that he wasn’t impressed by Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, which led to Dean confirming the project–much to the delight of fans.
