Trayvon Martin was a kind-hearted person. He was, according to the accounts of his family, a caretaker. He reportedly spoon-fed his quadriplegic uncle, Ronald Fulton, when no nurse was on hand to do so. He also babysat his 3- and 7-year-old girl cousins, nicknamed the “bunnies.” He often baked cookies for them, his family told the Times.
Moreover, he befriended notorious witness Rachel Jeantel, who in turn said he was the one person who did not make fun of her.
