The real-life location of the restaurant is Queens Boulevard in the Elmhurst section of Queens borough of New York City. The actual building itself is the location of a Wendy’s restaurant. The restaurant closed in mid-2013 when the building was scheduled to be demolished in order for a six-story apartment building to rise on the site.
