As previously reported, Nelson Mandela was admitted to a treatment center in South Africa on June 8, for an ongoing lung infection, that later took a turn for the worse.
While his family continues to bicker over money, the former South African President remains in a South African hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.
Mandela’s wife, Graca Machel, made a statement Friday, that she is less anxious because the 94-year-old is finally responding to treatment.
Mandela, who turns 95 on July 18, continues to receive well wishes and support from the South African community as well as leaders around the world in hopes of his quick recovery.
