det, ambassador bridgeThe Ambassador Bridge — Bridges and skyscrapers are always popular structures in cities. The Ambassador Bridge in Detroit is no different. The bridge, spanning the Detroit River, is a well-known structure that is a long-standing landmark in Detroit since it was constructed in 1929. The 7,500-foot long suspension bridge links Detroit with Windsor, Ontario and is one of the key American gateways to Canada. Not only is it a key landmark in Detroit but it is a vital link for commerce between the United States and Canada.
