“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” season two’s most consistent couple, DJ Traci Steele and DJ Babey Drew, showed off their style at the latest exclusive photo shoot with rollingout. With the help of celebrity stylist, Joe Stuckey, Traci and Drew proved that even with two different outlooks, you can still be on the same page. Stuckey started his 15-year career after honing his designer talents at Atlanta’s Bauder College and has styled everyone from Cynthia Bailey and Toni Braxton to Fantasia Barrino and being featured in many fashion magazines.
His style approach: Classic with a twist — “I like mixing classics with trends, so you’re not totally driven by trends and your outfit is timeless.”
Though DJ Babey Drew kept it clean and easy from his suit to causal wear, Stuckey experimented with African designs and prints to heat up Traci Steele’s look.
Advice to aspiring fashion stylists: “Explore! The more you’re able to see the world, and surround yourself with different people and cultures, delving deeper into what you love will enhance your work. Even if you’re not familiar with how to start styling, educate yourself and don’t be afraid to ask questions.”
