The future won’t be very different from how things are today, except the wealthy will live on a cushy space station and the working stiffs will live on what is left of a decimated planet Earth. So naturally the Earth dwellers want in on the space station action, thus setting up the eternal struggle between the haves and have nots. Max (Matt Damon) is forced to try to bridge the chasm between the two groups to save his own life, and maybe bring about a bit of equanimity.
Matt Damon is becoming the go-to guy for action films. And he proves why he is box-office gold in this sci-fi thriller.
