It seems like trouble follows Raz B everywhere he goes. While performing in China, the former B2K singer was hit in the face with a bottle and had to be rushed to the hospital for surgery.
According to TMZ, Raz B was performing at a nightclub in Zhejiang and noticed a fight break out in the audience. Raz B decided to personally try to break up the fight and ended up getting hit in the face with a bottle, resulting in several cuts across his face, including a deep gash across his lip.
Police quickly intervened and arrested both Raz and the bottle attacker. After determining that Raz did nothing wrong, police released him and forced the bottle thrower to pony up $5,000 to pay for Raz’s medical fees.
Raz was rushed to the hospital where he underwent a 1-hour emergency surgical procedure to repair the “hole” in his lip, which now has four stitches in it.
In a statement to the gossip site, Raz said, … “Thank god I made it to the hospital.”
Raz, who has been living in China for the last three years, says he has no plans to seek charges against his attacker, but he does plan on moving back to the U.S. by year’s end for a “big comeback.”
