Bradley Manning sentenced
The soldier accused of leaking classified documents to an anti-secrecy group has been sentenced. A military judge sentenced Bradley Manning to 35 years in prison Wednesday for violating parts of the espionage act by giving out secret info to WikiLeaks.
Manning faced up to 90 years in prison and will be required to serve 1/3 of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
Manning, 25, was not allowed to make a statement when his sentence was read but supporters of the Pfc shouted “we’ll keep fighting for you Bradley” and “you’re our hero.”
