Rumors of a silent beef between Jay-Z and Chris Brown have been circulating ever since Brown assaulted Jay’s prize artist, Rihanna, back in 2009. And although Brown has claimed in recent times that he and Jay are cool, he recently posted a suspicious tweet about a collaboration with Jay’s wife, Beyoncé, and hinted that things aren’t so cool between him and the Roc Nation mogul.
Yesterday, before going into a heated rant about fake thugs and “fashionable” rappers that may or may not have been directed at Drake, Brown posted a Vine video of one of Bey’s recent performances of “Bow Down” and captioned it with a questionable request for a collaboration.
https://t.co/2Cg9kFuNTP looks familiar. Beyonce, U might as well go ahead and do this collab. JAY might have a problem wit it but this Piru!

It’s not clear whether Brown was implying that Beyonce borrowed his dance moves or his fashion sense, but his negative mention of Jay Z, as well as the Piru faction of the Bloods street gang in Compton, Calif., certainly isn’t helping to quell rumors that he and Jay are beefing.
We’ll have to wait and see if Jay or Bey responds to Brown — or if Bey’s hyper-aggressive Bey Hive goes on the attack against Brown, but this wouldn’t be the first time that the controversial singer has been embroiled in a beef. Check out his other major beefs below. –nicholas robinson
