Paula Deen’s discrimination, sexual harrasment lawsuit dropped

A racist TV chef is in the clear now that a discrimination lawsuit against her has been dropped. The Associated Press reports that lawyers signed a deal Friday to drop both a discrimination and sexual harassment lawsuit against celebrity cook  Paula Deen.

An official court document was filed in the U.S. District Court in Savannah stating that both sides agreed to drop the lawsuit “without any award of costs or fees to any party.” A judge had previously ruled that the discrimination lawsuit against Deen “lacked merit.”

As previously reported, Deen admitted to using the N-word in a deposition related to the discrimination suit.
