Richie Furst (Justin Timberlake) is a gambler. Ivan Block (Ben Affleck) is the smooth operator who runs the online poker game that bankrupted Richie and who may or may not have cheated the Princeton grad student. When Richie ups the stakes by traveling to Block’s base of operations in Costa Rica to straighten things out with a little face time, he’s in for a very rude awakening. The kid is smart, but Block didn’t get to be a mogul by playing tiddlywinks. Will Richie be left holding the bag in Block’s high-stakes shell game?
