Would you be interested in seeing or being in a museum of creative selfies? Well thanks to the iPhone boom and curators Kyle Chayka and Marina Galperina present the National #Selfie Portrait Gallery, an installation of 19 emerging artists from the US and Europe who have created short-form videos engaging using the ever popular “selfie” technique.
The exhibit can be seen at Moving Image London 2013 at The Bargehouse in London’s South Bank from October 17-20, 2013. Visitors will also be encouraged to contribute to the discussion by taking their own Instagram or Vine selfies and tagging them #NationalSelfiePortraitGallery.
