Wendy Williams is certainly no stranger to a teary-eyed on-air moment. The famous talk show host is infamous for crying over her past or over other celebs, but fans of the media queen were shocked to see Williams crying for a different reason this week when she cried stuttering on camera during a recent taping of “The Wendy Williams Show.”
During a segment of #AskWendy when Williams was chatting with a pregnant audience member, Williams suddenly began stuttering and stumbling over her words. In an “After Show” episode for the show, Williams sits in her makeup chair and begins crying as she talks about her stuttering, hinting that she may have an unknown health issue.
“If I hadn’t eaten breakfast, I would’ve said it was because I was hungry. But I started to feel weird out there…First time this ever happened. I felt really, really weird today,” said Williams tearfully. “I’m a pretty clean talker that stuttering happens to once, it happens twice…After a few times I’m looking at me, what are you having, a stroke?”
Later on, Williams remarks that she felt like she was “gonna pass out” and says that she’s “going to the doctor.”
“Maybe I just need to go home and sit down,” she later says.
Well, we’re not sure what’s going on with Williams’ health but we hope her stuttering was just that and nothing more.
