Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t wasting time. Since announcing their engagement, a sketch for a possible wedding dress has already been unveiled. Theia creative director Don O’ Neill has come up with a sketch, drawn just hours after the big engagement news came out. A wedding orchestrated by West, hmm, over the top is what comes to mind, and so why wouldn’t her dress be? With no date out yet, Kardashian said on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno“ that she will pick the location and let him plan the rest.
“I chose this silhouette as it will flatter her amazing curves and fit like a second skin. It has lavish attention to detail with its intricate Swarovski crystal, silver lined glass bead embroidery and miniature handmade silk flowers. It’s a confection of silk organza but on a simple and dramatic silhouette. The crystal and handmade silk organza flowers and petals create rich texture on the bodice flowing down to the dramatic mermaid skirt.”
When Kardashian wedded Kris Humphries she opted for three white wedding dresses, so she might be willing to explore other colors. “Having gone the traditional route with her last wedding, she can now feel free to try color. This skirt has a blush pink lining, and the ivory flowers on the skirt are delicately tipped with blush pink,” stated O’Neill. What are your thoughts on the sketch? –joi pearson @joiapearson
