An HIV-positive man in Winter Haven, FL. allegedly poured gasoline on his girlfriend and forced her to have unprotected sex. According to a report by The Ledger, Glen Davis had been dating the woman and staying with her teenage son for a few months.

On Oct. 31, Davis became upset when his girlfriend and her son attempted to leave the home. An argument ensued over allegations of cheating and Davis began to physically abuse the woman. He grabbed her by the neck and threw gasoline on her and threatened to light a match. Davis then burned some clothes and threatened her son with gardening shears.

Later that evening, the woman says Davis forced her to have unprotected sex. Davis has been treated for HIV since 2008 and the woman was aware of diagnoses. However, the couple always used protection until that night.

The woman was treated for exposure to HIV and underwent tests at a hospital. Davis, who was recently released after serving four years in prison, was held on a $70,000 bond and charged with two counts of first-degree arson, two counts of domestic violence sexual battery, two counts of domestic violence aggravated battery and criminal transmission of HIV.
