Millions of pop culture watchers are endlessly bedazzled and awestruck by the red carpet appearances of the nation’s most sought-after entertainers and actors such as Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Halle Berry, Michelle Obama, Denzel Washington, Brooke Shields, Michael Jordan and countless others. Unfortunately, most people do not have a clue as to the people behind the scenes — the celebrity makeup artists — who expertly ready their faces for the throngs of photographers and TV cameras.

And just as importantly, there is no known entity or pipeline for urbanites with the dexterity, skill and aspiration to enter the business of celebrity and movie-set makeup to make that happen. Now there is.
