On Friday, Nov. 22, the day before her 21st birthday, Miley Cyrus became the victim of a home invasion. The LAPD confirmed that the “Wrecking Ball” singer discovered that property was missing from her home around 4:30pm.
According to reports, there were no signs of forced entry and nobody was injured. Thankfully, Cyrus was also not home during the incident, which police believe occurred sometime in the early afternoon. With no leads, the investigation is ongoing.
Despite the chaos, Cyrus is busy gearing up for the 2013 American Music Awards, spending her actual birthday weekend rehearsing for her performance at the annual awards show. The AMAs will broadcast tonight at 8/7c on ABC. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
