Most American soccer fans are, actually, not ready to play the world’s version of football. In fact, if you listen to the pundits and prognosticators, the Grim Reaper is patrolling the U.S. sidelines, ready to eliminate the American team as they drew the hardest possible draw imaginable.

That’s because the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team is prepared to open the tournament against Ghana, who eliminated the U.S. in the last two World Cups, and then face two of Europe’s best teams in Portugal (in the Amazon rainforest) and Germany, who who the U.S. lost to in the 1998 and 2002 World Cups.soccer, demarcus beasleyName: DeMarcus Beasley
