The students of Strawberry Mansion High School can breathe a little easier this holiday season, thanks to Young Money artist Drizzy Drake. After viewing a recent story on World News about the struggling school and how local viewers came together to chip in in to buy the students new uniforms, the “Versace” rapper hopped on a Philly-bound jet to lend his support to the severely underserved learning institution.

Drake drew from his newfound inspiration and made a surprise appearance at Strawberry Mansion High School, where he announced plans to build an on-site recording studio for the students.

“I caught this piece that Diane did … by the end of it, I was so heavily affected that I started questioning major aspects of my life,” he told ABC News.

In addition to his anticipated renovation, the new member of Team Jordan announced that he would be gifting each student with tickets and transportation to his upcoming “Would You Like a Tour?” concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Dec. 18.

With so many cuts in underserved schools across the board, specifically pertaining to music, it’s pleasant to see an artist help one institution keep music alive! –ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
