The same week Justin Bieber’s new album, Complete My Journals, knocked Beyoncé to No. 2on iTunes, he has decided to call it quits, according to his Twitter page.
My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring

He followed up his tweet with partial reasoning as to why all of a sudden he wants out of the spotlight.
The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.

Then he sent a Merry Christmas follow-up tweet:
Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER

Is he going or is he staying? Could this be a publicity stunt to promote his Believe Movie?
Going to surprise a lot of people this week. #BelieveMovie

Only time will tell if this is a real retirement announcement or just a clever marketing move to lure people to buy the album and go see the movie.
