No. 8 Trouble Will Find Me by The National
A self-aware record that somehow manages to eschew navel-gazing, TWFM is a stellar all-around listen. The National isn’t pushing forward in as much as they are looking inward and for a band who can be somewhat bleak, there’s a surprising warmth in this collection of songs.
