Honey Boo Boo car crash
The stars of TLC’s hit reality show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” were injured in a car crash Monday. Authorities report that Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her family; Mama June, Sugar Bear, Pumpkin and Jessica were riding in a Chevrolet Suburban in Millidgeville, Ga., when a pickup truck collided with them at an intersection. Honey Boo Boo’s dad, Sugar Bear, was behind the wheel at the time.
“It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck,” Mama June said in a statement. “We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin’s birthday,” she added. “She turned 14 today, and no matter how sore we feel, we are going to go out and celebrate. As always, we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.”
None of the family members were hospitalized and were treated on the scene for injuries that included a contusion, bruises and a neck sprain.
Honey Boo Boo and her family have been bombarded on social media with get well messages from dedicated fans.
